Project Positivity

2025 Leadership Solution

Project Positivity was one of the spotlighted leadership solution this year.

This Leadership Solution was created with the idea to boost morale and create a ripple effect in schools. By spreading positivity both anonymously and publicly this would help to boost confidence and spread positive words within schools.

Leadership Solutions

Leadership Solutions are a large part of camp every year. Teams come together to work and find a solution to an issue affecting their community. Many times, this can include ways to combat the mental health and violence crisis in schools. Or ways to improve the overarching community.

Using leadership skills that students learned at camp, they are able to work on solutions that they can then bring to their local rotary club to work on and improve. As well, Rotary members are always welcome to come up to view the solution presentations, ask questions, and give advice.

Process of Developing a Leadership Solution

July

August (After RYLA)

And On….

At RYLA you will be able to work in a team collaboratively to find a solution to a problem facing your community. We will provide you with tools and insights to help you begin but ultimately you will be the one with your team finding a solution.

After camp, you will have the opportunity to go to your local rotary to give a speech about your experience at RYLA. As well, this is the perfect opportunity to bring up your leadership solution to find out how your local rotary may be able to help.

After discussing with your local rotary, it is time to put your plan into action! This can be done by bringing this to the attention of your schools interact, or maybe even starting an interact for your school. Be sure to stay actively involved with your rotary club to get the wisdom and insight to change your community for the better!
